The Elysian restaurant, sprawled over an area of 1200 sq ft, is an elegant fine dining. Restaurant that gives a very subtle throwback to middle eastern era.
Nostalgia, traditions, emotion all these & much more anchor the design concept of Elysian.
An earthy palette of colors was chosen for the space. The design started with thinking middle eastern and what is definition could be.
It had to be an open flow restaurant with clean lines, earthy colors and indigenous textures.
We looked at rustic materials like bamboo, jute, threads, dhurries and reinterpreted them to suit the requirement of a middle eastern dining.
The space opens up to a central dining space with combination of colorful dhurries and warm toned brick.
Chair with colorful dhurries breaks the continuity in the seating arrangement and adds a calmness to space.
The space is accentuated by used of artistic lams and sheer curtains used in the space.
