Collaborative Architecture is an international award winning firm headed by Lalita Tharani and Mujib Ahmed. Based in Mumbai and Calicut India , the firm has been in the fore front of new Asian Avant Grade. The studio recently started the China operations based in Ningbo, Shanghai. China studio is headed by Dr. Shibu Raman, who has a doctorate from Oxford University UK and currently heads the architectural division at Nottingham University, Ningbo, China. Architecture at COLLABORATIVE goes beyond the generally prevailing notions of functional contingencies and simplistic approach of problem solving. Projects fall in a larger scheme of things, transforming them into critical explorations of ideas and visions for future.
