Having completed her bachelors in Architecture from Rachna Sansad Academy of Architecture in 1988, Rupande Shah went on to pursue her masters from Pratt Institute in New York. Rupande credits her contemporary style to her formative years of studying in United States. With an intention to reflect the myriad Indian cultural traditions in her designs, she uses natural materials in an innovative manner. Her projects are examples of effective use of space and light teamed with colour and texture. Rupande Shah has designed homes for many notable personalities in Kolkata.
