The Primary requirement was to have a home that was a warm, homely and welcoming . A private residence, luxurious but by no means flashy or ostentatious ,, to blend the modern and the ethnic ; Achieve an eclectic appeal with Indian sensibilities , which spoke of it’s roots but was still contemporary and chic. The use of wood and rustic finish flooring,minimal glass and no steel , enhanced the luxurious but rustic spaces . We wanted the interior to be a mirror of and extens
