Gymnasium
Gym is slang for gymnasium. It is usually attached to schools and colleges; for the students’ physical training facilities. Gyms are also a part of clubs and hotels. A gym usually has some covered areas and some open-air spaces; for gymnastics and athletics.
Akhaada was the equivalent of a gym in ancient India; where training and practice of bodybuilding and wrestling along with weapons training was provided.
