A mid size urban residence with a brief to use material in its natural texture to derive or generate a form of our liking. The client, a fan of exposed concrete, gave us liberty to experiment variety of forms and applications in concrete and brickwork..... modulated concrete ceilings as well as reverse vault brick slabs posed challenges for a very intelligent and able contractor, Himanshu Patel. An otherwise closed mass from outside this house is open & interactive from inside.
