This being a renovation , We took time to understand the existing building itself , which was divided into several small rooms, the bungalow was like a row bungalow , juxtaposed with an overpowering apartment throughout its entire length , resulting in deficient light and ventilation. We decided to give it a linear courtyard which we consider as "vital square footage" for entertaining and relaxing throughout the other length and opened it to all rooms… we demolished most internal wall
the existing column has been integrated in plan and etaling of breakfast nook and dining
