The Quarry House is a private retreat from city life. Sited on the edge of a lush 4 acre fruit orchard, this proposal provides a luxury experience while paying homage to the local stone trade and craftsmanship of immediate area. The design was inspired by the traditional courtyard house though the large center courtyard is subdivided and de-centralized to create a layering of spaces with constant visual and physical connections to the outdoors.
