Signage
Signs are any kind of visual graphics created to display information to a particular audience. This is typically manifested in the form of way finding information in places such as streets or inside / outside of buildings. Signage is an important feature in the design of shops, offices, commercial complexes and malls; a sit lends a strong visual identity to the establishment.
The main functions of a sign are to convey Information, give Directions, help in Identification, and for Safety and Regulatory purposes.
Designed by visual artists or interior designers, the execution of the same is handed over to the specialists, depending on the type of signage chosen. For instance, a painted board will differ from a neon sign or the now more popular LED lighting.
