Turnkey Fitout
Turnkey Fitout is a term in contracting particularly in the building construction industry that suggests the contractors'capacity to deliver a building/interior ready for immediate use. Generally high end residences or corporate offices are constructed with this option. It implies that the customer, upon receiving the premises, just needs to turn the door key to start using it, or that the key just needs to be turned over to the customer. If a contractor builds a "turnkey home" they frame the structure and finish the interior - from the flooring, ceiling, wall paintd and furniture, cabinets, right down to the accessories and art pieces. "Turnkey" is commonly used in the construction industry, in which it refers to the bundling of materials and labour by General Contractor to execute the project effectively, without the client's or owner's involvement
