Pantry
A pantry is an ancillary facility of the kitchen, where food, provisions and/or linen are stored. In large homes, while entertaining or in hospitality outlets, it is used to keep the cooked dishes waiting to be served.
In most Indian homes, the pantry is no longer a separate room, but rather an interstitial space between the kitchen and dining areas. It may have a cabinet for the storage of tableware, linen or cutlery and the top may be used as a service counter.
