Reception Foyer / Lounge
Usually the reception is the first point of contact for any visitor in any establishment and therefore may reflect the philosophy of the establishment. The reception is usually located in a lobby or waiting foyer of an organization or business.
A receptionist is an employee taking an office/administrative support position and sitting at the reception desk; to receive or greet any visitors or clients and answer telephone calls.
In larger establishments an area is marked as reception lounge where visitors wait and will be met by the executives they want to see. This eliminates the possible entry of any uninvited visitor into the work area.
