Lounges
Bars, Pubs and Lounges are typically places to hang out with friends after work. The outlets would need to have a license to serve alcoholic drinks on the premises. Food served in such outlets is usually finger food and snacks/starters. Some pubs and bars have attached discotheques or dance floors and typically have jazzy décor schemes; with LED lighting now replacing the erstwhile strobe lights.
The pub culture has caught on in a big way over the past two decades. While restaurants are preferred destinations for families, bars and pubs are the chosen hang-outs for young couples and singles. These are the night-spots that add vibrancy to a city’s nightlife.
The more luxurious variants are Lounges, sometimes attached to the main pub/discotheque area and offering more opportunities for quieter or more intimate conversations.
