Any settlement grows and spreads and over time, develops into a town or city. What grows naturally is the residential component – as housing is a basic need. Schools, colleges, post offices, fire stations and hospitals are necessities that cater to the populace. However, every settlement must also incorporate within its growth, a certain fixed percentage of open spaces – some of which can be left as pockets of trees and some of which may be cultivated as children’s parks and gardens with jogging/cycling tracks.
Theme parks could be adventure-parks or water-parks with rides and slides; catering to a wide range of users.
