Fabric Artists
Fabrics or textiles are most used in dress-making and upholstery. Textile refers to any material made of interlacing fibres. Fabric refers to any material made through weaving, knitting, spreading, crocheting, or bonding that may be used in production of further goods.
Traditionally various cultures have been using many different techniques to embellish fabrics; to be used for garments or household use. Painting, mirror-work, tie-and-dye, embroidery, patch-work, bead-work are some of the popular fabric arts.
