Electrical Contractors
An electrical contractor is employed to perform specialized construction work related to the design, installation, and maintenance of electrical systems. The electrical layout is usually provided by the electrical engineer or architect or lighting designer to the electrical contractor. .
An electrical contractor differs from an electrician, in that an electrician is an individual tradesman and an electrical contractor is a business person or company that employs electricians. Electricians usually work for an electrical contractor, or directly for individuals or companies.
