An alumni of Rachna Sansad , Mumbai and Pratt Institute New York. She started her career working with Ratan Batliboi . Design for her means not only an expression of oneself, but sheer honesty in terms of materials and environment. Her rigor, passion for design results has translated to the vision of her firm to produce designs that are modern, yet based on principles of traditional architecture, respecting the forces of nature. Her passion for Architecture is further enhanced in the field of Academia. She is a visiting Faculty at the Rachna Sansad and has been on various jury panels.
AShah Architects was started in 1994 with a vision for design to be modern and yet be rooted in tradition and sustainability. Over the last two decades the firm has worked on a diverse range of architecture and interior projects of varied scale across, residential, retail, institutional and commercial sectors. Each project is dealt with great passion and panache. By a dedicated team that has stayed true to the vision of creating designs that are contextual, and thoughtful keeping in mind the needs of not only the client but also the environment.
