16 Living Rooms on TFOD: Snippets from Stylish Homes

The cover picture took the longest to pick. It was a hard call to take; but finally the one that made it to the top comes from the TFOD Profile of Archis Patel & Tanvi Rajpurohit. The young and talented designer duo from Baroda co-own the practice a + t - a design studio with a view to explore design directions and taking design process as a journey of discovery. With a core philosophy to create spaces keeping all functional aspects in mind, they are dedicated to innovation and creativity. Looking at ways of experimenting with tools and materials in design, a + t specializes in residential interiors, retail spaces, offices, restaurants. (Group Images:1&2)

The Pune-based firm – Aijaz Hakim Architects - is seen showcasing a fantastic profile on TFOD! The proprietary, multi-disciplinary firm has completed a broad range of projects in architecture, landscape and interior design. Aijaz brings his vast experience in International and Domestic design, which includes dealing with timely deliverables, and exacting international quality standards in an effective framework along with hands-on project experience. The AHA team delivers cost-effective construction and design solutions. Beautiful specimens of luxurious living are picked out from the AHA profile on TFOD. (Images: 3&4)

The next two lovely living spaces come from the TFOD portfolio of Lovekar Design Associates, also based in Pune. The design practice set up in 1993 by batch-mates from the J. J. College of Architecture, Ashwin and Anjali Lovekar are doing some really commendable work. A keen sense of aesthetics and visual appeal, along with a discipline in design, underlines all their work. Enjoying the process of design to obtain a creative and feasible solution is the studio’s most consistent effort. (Images: 5&6)

Behzad Kharas is another designer to watch out for!  Steadily climbing the steps to success, this young architect’s TFOD Profile reiterates his versatility. Handling all stylistic genres with ease, Kharas set up ThinkBNK in 2005. Now metamorphosed into The BNK Group, the studio positions itself as a confluence of creativity that ushers splendor and elan into design and structure; while catering to the sensibilities of the clients. The BNK Group’s commitment to creating grand, elegant living spaces – is amply reflected in this living room. (Image:7)

From the very celebrated Khosla Associates' TFOD Profile, comes this stunner! The Bangalore-based studio helmed by Sandeep Khosla and Amaresh Anand provides services in Architecture and Interior design across a wide range of building types including Offices, Residential, Retail/ Luxury retail, and Hospitality. Though the firm has a fabulous profile on TFOD replete with wonderful homes, this very vibrantly elegant living room finely blending comfort and class, couldn't be missed out from this collection of lovely living rooms on TFOD! Rajnysh Rami - another very talented designer from Baroda (and also our current Profile Of The Week) - displays on his TFOD Profile a wide repertoire of projects and spaces - each showcasing style and splendour. This graceful living room is warm and welcoming; with just the right touch of luxury! His mastery over detailing and adaptation of traditional design elements into contemporary lifestyles and decor comes through effectively in his TFOD Profile. (Image:9)

The next image comes from the TFOD Profile of Architect Rajesh Patel. One of the most interesting profiles on TFOD showcasing projects from the institutional, corporate and residential sectors – Rajesh Patel’s more recent residential projects speak a language of bespoke luxury. Lavish in scale, and placed in a gorgeous setting, this massive drawing room is an epitome of stylish living!! (Image:11)

And finally, we have these three diversely styled living rooms from the TFOD Profile of Ar. Puran Kumar. Wonderfully detailed information, articulately explained images and regularly updated with new projects – the PKA Profile wins hands down as TFOD’s Best Profile.  Though PKA’s primary work is in the corporate sector, they have some incredible homes in their portfolio!
