Location: Jaipur, Rajasthan Client: MGM University Jaipur Year of Completion: 2018 Built Area: 350,000 SF Sri Ram Cancer & Superspeciality Centre (SRCC) at the Mahatma Gandhi Medical Campus in Jaipur, Rajasthan provides holistic and comprehensive care to patients. In spite of being located on a tight-fitting plot in a dense neighbourhood, the design of the hospital brings natural light and vibrancy to the spaces. During the day, natural light fills the double-height entrance lobby and invites patients inside. Responding to the site conditions and surrounding buildings, the thoughtfully designed landscape around the hospital offers respite to ailing patients, stressed caregivers and often overworked healthcare staff. Views of the surrounding landscape from patient rooms promote healing and enhance the patient experience.
