The brief was to design a highway hotel,food court and petrol pump on the Mumbai Nasik highway which could serve as a stopover as well as a weekend destination. The circulation was carefully designed keeping different levels of privacy and duration of visit in mind.
The site is bisected by a water channel. Thus the zoning was designed such that the land on one side of the water body closer to the road became a public space while the area more secluded and away was used for the hotel.
