Architect & Integrated Sustainability engineer from Mumbai. Her focus areas include ecological design, earth technology, water and waste management, biodiversity, energy efficiency, thermal comfort and renewables. She has lectured widely in India and across several cities in Europe and presented to audiences ranging from architects, civil engineers, environmentalists, planners and students. For more than 12 years, she worked as the Chief Co-Architect of Sri Aurobindo Society, an international NGO with more than 400 centres and branches across India and the world. She has been one of two architects who designed and built 'Sharanam' phase 1 - Institute for Rural Transformation, Pondicherry, chosen by the United Nations Environment Programme as a model for sustainable development in India. She is currently heading her architectural practice based in Pondicherry - Auroville and Mumbai, specialising in semi-urban sustainable campuses and bespoke urban residences in different
