Designed for a young family of five and three dogs, this house is a major renovation and addition to a small 20 year old brick house located on a 10,000 sqft site. The goal of this project was to minimize the built footprint to maintain the large lawn and mature trees. Building off of the existing palette, natural and traditional materials are used in a contemporary way to create active living spaces that open to one another and spill out onto the landscape.
