This project takes place in two phases. In phase one a delineated area in Dadar from Prabhadevi to Kabutar Khanais studied thoroughly. This was done as part of a class activity in groups. The second phase is individually done where we analyse the data gathered and identify issues of the area. Further design intervention was proposed to solve these problems. My design proposal was that of cluster redevelopment.
The challenge was to redevelop the old buildings but not loose the essence in process. To achieve that massing was very important. The ratio of street width and building height was also crucial which is shown in these sections.
