Founded by Ankita Sweety and Pratyush Chandan in 2010, Studio An-V-Thot is a Design Consultancy firm based in Delhi. Since then the studio has successfully completed several Architectural and Interior projects of varied nature, scale and sizes. The studio’s core effort to convert thought into reality has consistently goaded them to deliver refined design solutions. The Future Of Design celebrates the firm’s simple yet stunning profile – which is adequately expressive of their design thoughts!

Studio AVT is a National Award winning Architectural & Interior design firm, currently involved with projects throughout the country. Studio AVT firmly believes in the uttermost importance of the space within and beyond rather than the built frame. They endeavour to design and develop an environment for stories to take birth and remain, where true feelings are captured and a sense of belonging is perceived, which resonates through time. The firm’s work has been much appreciated and published in many leading national and international magazines as well as e-magazines.

The current AVT portfolio though primarily in the residential sector in and around Delhi and UP, they have bagged some good projects in institutional and healthcare sectors – with a Women’s Polytechnic in Haryana, a super-speciality IVF clinic in Uttar Pradesh and a 55 bed hospital in Maharashtra! These projects have materialised as an outcome of their goal to spread out and make their presence felt in the design scenario of the country!

In 2012, Studio An-V-Thot set up their own new office - a positive and playful space – where multiple frames and imaginary and real vistas create intriguing and hierarchical spatial experiences.

Another very unusual project from their portfolio is a bungalow in Panipat, for an elderly, retired couple. Designed to be like a traditional kothi – with multiple open and semi-open sit-out spaces; the house evolves as a singular neat space devoid of artificial insertions.

‘An-V-Thot’ is a hybrid of two words, anvit & thought where "anvit" means followed by, so it is actually a studio followed by a thought!! As the name suggests, the founders-partners strive to define their endeavours in a thoughtful, evolving and responsible manner.

We, at The Future Of Design, celebrate Studio An-V-Thot’s design journey and appreciate the designers’ efforts and endeavours.
