Perhaps, a day in beauty studio can be a blessing in disguise. Niche that help us indulge in some much-needed 'me' time, to switch off and relax, recharge, reflect, detox and beautify. . Designed by young designer’s yatin and jiten, a salon titled “A degree”, a unisex beauty treatment studio.
‘The site is liner –with 15 ft width and length 50 ft.so we had to place the stations one besides the other in the center ; creating an interesting concept of continuity of elements with sharp and defined edges’ says jiten.
The designers have given an industrial look to the studio. The inspiration lies in the fact just as a product gets revamp in industry, a person coming to studio should get revitalize and recharge. Rustic look has been accentuate by usage of different shades of grey and a contrast colored air tube running as a spine through the studio, dividing it into two halves.
The shop being linear box like, a clear demarcation between spaces was necessary. Space was a major constraint. The concept of continuity of stations has been created so as to achieve maximum usable space on the main axis of salon.
